Initial Consultation: The initial consultation is a critical first step in any attorney-client relationship. This meeting is important for the client to begin to understand the legal issues that will be involved, the steps in the process and, most importantly, gain trust and confidence in his/her legal counsel. We carefully explain all of the important aspects of what each unique client will be facing in a particular case and begin developing the best strategy to maximize the opportunity for success. The average consultation lasts approximately one to two hours and is typically charged at the standard hourly rate depending on the complexity of the case

Our Fees: We charge an hourly rate, commencing with the initial consultation.The rates depend on the complexity and its possibile to get a quote by sending an email to info@wkaadvocates.com. The hourly rates are typically adjusted in January each year.

The Retainer: We require an initial retainer and a signed fee agreement prior to the commencement of representation. The initial retainer depends on the type and complexity of the case. We then bill our time against that retainer. Retainers must be replenished when the retainer is close to being depleted. Where it is appropriate, we will seek to have the other party reimburse you for your attorneys’ fees.
